REGISTRATIONS and FEES

REGISTRATIONS and FEES

2013 REGISTRATIONS:
We are still accepting registrations for 2013. Fees(if paid by the 1st) for full day care including holidays, are currently between R1 690 and R1 875 depending on the age of the child. Older children pay less.
Aftercare fees (including holiday care) for primary school children from the area and as far as Milnerton, are R865 (plus travelling if required) and casual holiday care is R80 per day.

If you have not yet viewed the facilities, please do so by phoning Yvonne to arrange for an interview.

All parents please note that our pre-primary school is for children between the ages of 4 and 6 years old (turning 4-6 years old that year) and the nursery section is for babies from 1 month to 3 years of age.

We are an Independent School registered with the Department of Education and our Gr R‘s follow the new CAPS curriculum as prescribed by the Department, but we also give the children more than what has been prescribed, as our aim is to make them as confident and as prepared as possible.
Our Gr R graduates have made us very proud in the past as so many of them attend the best primary schools in the area and so many of them excel at primary school level and we will continue to strive for excellence.
All other children in our school follow a curriculum which has been scaled down from the Gr R curriculum to their level.
The crechè follows a curriculum, which has been taylor made according to their ages.

If you wish to enrol your child, please give us a call.

As a matter of interest, which primary school your child will attend when he or she starts Gr 1, does not depend on which pre-primary school your child went to, it depends on where you live or where you work, as government primary schools have to mainly satisfy the children from their areas.
They can, however, admit a certain number of children from outside these areas, which is why most of our Gr R graduates, who are well-prepared, can and do attend the primary schools of their choice, in spite of where they live.
We will be happy to advise you in this regard should you require further information.

GR R.
If your child is turning 6 in 2013, please note that your child will be going to Gr 1 the following year and has to be school ready and preferably has to be in a Gr R class this year, as Gr R is the first year of schooling, not Gr 1 anymore. This is when the Foundation Phase--Gr R to Gr 3-- starts.
We offer two Gr R classes--one for the children turning 6 years old when they are in Gr R and one for the children turning 5 yrs old before the end of June the year they are in Gr R.

Please phone 021-511 5231 for an interview or for more information or email us at info@eveshoeeducare.co.za or smostert@global.co.za or come and see us.

Any further questions can be answered when you come for an interview.

Kind regards
Sue Mostert
