2014 REGISTRATIONS: Registrations for 2014 are still open and children can also now be registered for 2015. There is full or casual care available. We are open during the school holidays and only close for approximately three and a half weeks over the December school holidays.

There is also a HALF DAY FEE option for crèche children (until 12pm every day) and for pre-primary children, who only want to attend school during the school terms and not during the school holidays and where the school day ends at 1 pm. The fees for this range between R1390 and R1890 p.m. The older children pay the least. CASUAL DAYCARE- for all local, national or international children- is R120 per day for the pre-primary school children and R135 per day for the crèche children.
AFTERCARE FEES (and/or holiday care) for PRIMARY SCHOOL children(Gr 1-Gr 7) from the area and where travelling is arranged as far as the Milnerton schools, are R865 p.m. (plus travelling if required) and R630 p.m.(plus travelling if required) for aftercare during the school term with no holiday care. We are an Independent ECD Centre registered with the Department of Social Development and the Department of Education. Our Gr R‘s follow the new CAPS curriculum as prescribed by the Department of Education, but we also give the children more than what has been prescribed, as our aim is to make them as confident and as prepared as possible for Gr 1. Our Gr R class(es) are well renowned and our graduates have made us very proud in the past as so many of them attend the best primary schools not only in the area and in the adjoining areas, but much further afield and many of them excel at primary school level. We will continue to strive for excellence. All the other children in our school and crèche follow a curriculum which has been scaled down from the Gr R curriculum to their level, as well as the NELDS curriculum as prescribed by the Department of Social Development.
As a matter of interest, which primary school your child will attend when he or she starts Gr 1, does not depend on which pre-primary school your child went to, it depends on where you live or where you work, as public primary schools have to mainly enrol children who live in the area around the school first. They can, however, admit a certain number of children from outside these areas, which is why most of our Gr R graduates, who are well-prepared, can and do attend the primary schools of their choice, in spite of where they live. We will be happy to advise you in this regard should you require further information.
Gr R. If your child is turning 6 in 2014, please note that your child will be going to Gr 1 next year and has to be school ready and preferably has to be in a Gr R class in their 6th year, as Gr R is the first year of schooling, not Gr 1 anymore. This is when the Foundation Phase--Gr R to Gr 3-- and therefore the curriculum, starts.
We offer two Gr R classes--one for the children turning 6 years old when they are in Gr R and one for the children turning 5 yrs old before the end of June the year they turn 5yrs. Most of these younger children go through to the 6year old Gr R class the following year.
